Watters Rd., in Allen, TX, on March 22, 2014, at 3pm.

Community leaders and honorary guests from across the North Dallas area and beyond will be attending. The event is free of charge and open to the public. Organizers are anticipating several hundred people to participate.

“This will be a great place to learn to cope with stresses in life in a healthy way as well as learn the meaning of life”, said John Bruckner, a patent attorney from Richardson, TX who has recently participated in JKYog programs in the North Dallas area.

The center will be open to anyone from the community to experience self discovery, learn stress management techniques, and explore holistic approaches to living. It will focus on bringing the ancient wisdom of yoga and yogic philosophy to life in everyday modern living. Planned offerings include self improvement, holistic and spiritual health events and programs that provide guidance and inspiration to spiritual practice and improved quality of life, such as regular yoga and meditation sessions.

Groundbreaking ceremony and festivities will include unique and fun activities for the whole family — young and old alike – from presentations on the project, live music and singing, cultural dance, face painting, clown, 47 ft inflatable obstacle course and house bounce for kids and more. Delicious locally prepared dinner, as well as special treats for the children will be served, free of charge.

JKYog was recently recognized by North Dallas area mayors of Irving and Plano, TX for its community efforts and achievements. The center will be built in 3 phases with construction anticipated to be completed before year end.
